This 6,500 square foot facility functions as the area's emergency operations center as well as State Police Headquarters. As a part of the emergency operations network, the facility was designed using reinforced concrete to provide a FEMA approved fallout shelter complete with emergency utilities. The design of the building evolved out of the stringent security criteria that demanded separation between the public and the police operations functions.
