Our design build team including Carter Burgess Engineers and ECI Construction was selected to construct a 34,040 square foot building for the 134th Civil Engineering Squadron, Fire and Emergency Services at the LIttle Rock Air Force Base. The Fire and Emergency Services Department serves the domestic fire fighting needs of the Air Force Base, as well as the Fire/Crash Rescue.
The new building is located on the flight line and houses the following functions: fire alarm communication center, apparatus bays, vehicle maintenance bays, vehicle washing bay, mechanic work area, training facilities, living quarters, recreation and dining areas, and administration area.
In addition, our interior designers served the team in selection of structural interior design items and a furnishing and equipment package within the end user's $250,000 budget. Items within the furnishing and equipment package were divided between bid process items and sole source products among several vendors.
