1926
Our firm, Elmer A. Stuck, Architect was established in Jonesboro, Arkansas at 505 Union Street. Mr. Stuck, seen above, was later awarded certificate number 34, from the State Board of Architects in 1939.

The first projects were mostly residences, such as these for Mr. and Mrs. Rudolf Ritter and Mrs. Jack Otto.

1930
First firm brochure entitled "Monograph" was published which included 15 projects and 13 advertisements. Two featured projects were Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Craighead County Courthouse.



1949
Our name changed to Elmer A. Stuck & Associates, reflecting Sid Frier, Elmer's son-in law, joining the firm. Sid was a fine architect and a gifted harmonics player.

1960
Dewaine Beisner joined the firm as lead designer and interior design was added to the firm's services.

1961
After the addition of Bill Lane AIA, and Aubrey Scott AIA, as principals, the firm was elevated to corporation status, and the name was enhanced to Stuck, Frier, Lane and Scott, Inc.. The Arkansas State Board of Architects issued the corporate certificate number C6.

1969
Elmer Stuck AIA, elected President of the State Board of Architects, and Sid Frier AIA, elected President of the American Institute of Architects, Arkansas Chapter.



1971
Name was changed to Stuck, Frier, Lane, Scott, Beisner, Inc., when Dewaine Beisner was named a principal in the firm.

1972
Jonesboro Studio relocated to 328 South Church Street.

1974
Sid Frier AIA moved to Little Rock and opened a studio in the Union National Bank Building. He remained the principal-in-charge until his death in 1985.

1975
The firm celebrated its golden anniversary with an open house at the Jonesboro Studio.

1978
Elmer E. Stuck AIA passed away after 52 years of contributions to the firm.



1980
First group of associates included: Dewaine Beisner AIA, Gene R.Castin AIA, Fred R. Cheek AIA, William Smock, Albert Frankenberger AIA, Kenneth Slater, and John Younkin AIA.

1983
Studio opened in Bella Vista, Arkansas, with John Yonkin AIA, as principal-in-charge.

1983
Name was changed to The Stuck Associates to honor our founder, and to reflect the status of the new associates in the firm. Quarterly newsletter Autographs first issue was published.



1991
Aubrey Scott retired from the firm.

1992
The third generation of leadership was passed to Dewaine Beisner AIA, Gene Castin AIA, and Paul Hoelscher AIA, when they were elected officers in the corporation.

1996
The existing office building in Jonesboro was purchased and the studio renovated. Also a building at 1308 South Main was purchased for the Little Rock Studio and adapted for their use.

1997
Name was changed to , Inc.



2001
Firm celebrated its 75th anniversary.

2006
Firm celebrates its 80th anniversary. Current partners are Gene Castin, Paul Hoelscher and Mark Enos.
